The Mississippi RiverKings have come to an agreement on a contract with forward Devin Mantha for the upcoming season, set to start Friday at home against the new Evansville Thunderbolts.

Mantha, 27, enters his third season with the RiverKings after splitting time last year with the Norfolk Admirals of the ECHL.

Last season in 26 games with the RiverKings, Mantha scored eight goals for 22 points.

In his first two seasons with the RiverKings, Mantha did not miss a game playing in all 56 regular season games each season and accumulated 37 goals for 88 points as one of the team’s leading scorers in both years.

Following Friday’s game in Southaven, the teams will head to Indiana for Evansville’s home opener Saturday night.
