Lake Cormorant-West Point football

Lake Cormorant senior captain Jonathan Jaynes holds a plaque given the team from the West Point football team in memory of Gator Jaquarius Harper, a starting middle linebacker who died in an accidental shooting on Saturday morning, Sept. 30. Other tributes at the start of the game included the painting of Harper's number 34 on the football field, Lake Cormorant starting the game one player short on defense and the West Point offense then taking a knee on its first play of the game.
