Baker leads Liberty University women's basketball

Former Northpoint Christian School basketball standout Ashtyn Baker drives on her Michigan opponent during a game for Liberty University. The 3-5 Flames play host to Shippensburg this Saturday with Baker as team captain in just her first year. Baker is averaging 6.9 points per game and has started five of the Flames’ eight games this season. The TSSAA Division II-A Miss Basketball and state tournament MVP last season led the Lady Trojans to a pair of Tennessee state championships, scoring 25 points in the championship game.
