Charlie McAlaster, assistant manager at Walmart Hernando, and Tammie McAlaster are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Morgan McAlaster of Hernando, to Frank Gross, son of Margaret Gross of Covington, Tenn. and John Wayne Gross of Hernando.

The wedding will take place at Cross Creek Church in Olive Branch on Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. with family pastor from Pontotoc, Bill Thompson, officiating. All family and friends are welcome. A reception will follow.

The bride-elect attends Northwest Mississippi Community College. She works at Buon Cibo in Hernando. She is the granddaughter of Leo and Bea Haddock of Olive Branch, Justin McAlaster of Coldwater and John Lynes of Pontotoc and “honorary grandmother,” Debbie Kendrick of Cordova, Tenn.

The prospective groom attends Northwest Mississippi Community College. He works at Walmart in Hernando and at MERI in Memphis. He is the grandson of Frank Salvaggio of Covington, Tenn.

Serving as maid of honor will be Erin Savage. Bridesmaids will be Kaylanne McAlaster, Amber McAlaster, Kelsey Bozarth, Samantha Reeves, Jodie Brownlee, Clair Ferguson, Crystal Beard. Attendant will be MacKenzie Ruch and junior attendant will be Annie Kate Haddock. Flower girls will be Addison McAlaster, Olivia Greer, Lydia Chumley. Junior flower girl will be Katie Lynes. Ring bearer will be Cody Gross and junior ring bearer will be Gavan Henry.

Serving as best man will be Orbie Coston. Groomsmen and groomsladies will be Jay Roberson, Nancy Pyron, Kasey Bozarth, Ben Coleman, Matt Coleman, Jake Coleman and Joe Youngblood. Luke Greer and Daniel Smith will be ushers.

Servers will be Amy Youngblood, Jessica Lantrip and Rae Rae Loucks. Photographers will be Julie Gross and Brandi Greer; soloist/director is Robin Bozarth, decorator/director is Amy Davis. Cakes by Tammy McAlaster. Hair/makeup by Brandy Crawford.
