Turning Point gives for Narcan purchase

Turning Point Recovery Center in Southaven donated $800 to the DeSoto County Sheriff's Department to be used to purchase the drug Narcan. The drug is used for the partial or complete reversal of an opioid overdose. Deputies will have the drug available as part of their routine patrols.  The donation on Oct. 5 was part of the center's Memory Walk at Snowden Grove Park.
