Olive Branch accountant awarded for patience, knowledge
Ken Adams, the mayor of Olive Branch Mayor and the Board of Aldermen, recognized Senior Accountant Nancy Lee, for the Mayor’s Award for the month of April 2023 during Tuesday's Board of Aldermen meeting.
According to Adams, Lee has "gone above and beyond for the city's Finance Department and taken on numerous responsibilities during an employee's extended absence while maintaining her obligations to processing hundreds of payments to our vendors.
"She has demonstrated an ability to not only keep our bills paid but does so seemingly with patience and knowledge. We all know how difficult and time consuming it can be to wear so many different hats for extended periods of time. Nancy is an outstanding team player and is always available to assist when called upon," he added.
