Northpoint Christian School President Emeritus David Manley enjoys some time spent with some of the school’s youngest students in his office on the Northpoint campus. School officials have initiated a scholarship in Manley’s name to a deserving Northpoint student.

The Board of Trustees, Administration, and Chairman's Roundtable of Northpoint Christian School have announced the creation of the David H. Manley Scholarship at the school.

Officials announced on Monday, Nov. 26 that an anonymous donor came forward with a $10,000 matching gift to the school for the creation of this scholarship.

Officials are encouraging alumni, friends, faculty, and current NCS families to make a tax-deductible, year-end donation to the David H. Manley Scholarship.

Northpoint Christian School will accept donations in any dollar amount.  Donors may give through the school website by going to the website www.ncstrojans.com, selecting, “Support Us,” and “Donate Now.” Once you click on “Donate Now,” scroll down and select the tab marked "David H. Manley Scholarship."

Donations may also be sent by check to the Northpoint Christian School Finance Office, attention: Amy Lawler, and write, “David H. Manley Scholarship” on the remitter line.

The David H. Manley Scholarship will be given out each year to a senior.  The first year for this scholarship to be awarded is in May 2019.

David Manley served as coach, teacher, principal, president and is now president emeritus of Northpoint Christian School, and Southern Baptist Education Center prior to the school’s name change, for over 36 years.

Manley and his family are a beloved part of the school and have contributed greatly to the success of the school’s 45-year history.
