Olive Branch police Sunday were searching for a man connected in a fatal shooting that took place late Friday night.
Police said in a news release late Sunday morning an arrest warrant had been issued for Tyrease Kiosh Loftin, age 21 of Southaven, charging Loftin with murder in the death of Bryan Harris of Horn Lake.
Harris was shot in a parking lot at 9700 Goodman Road in Olive Branch about 11:30 p.m. Friday night. The shooting scene is east of Highway 178 near the Olive Grove Terrace Senior Living facility and the Olive Branch Shrine Club.
Police report Harris was in the parking lot with several other individuals when an altercation occurred which ended in one of the individuals revealing a handgun and firing several shots, one of which found Harris in the side of his chest.
Officers arrived on the call of shots being fired and found Harris lying in the parking lot. He was rushed to Methodist Olive Branch Hospital by EMS, where he later died.
Loftin is described as 5-feet-2, 132 pounds and with large tattoos on his neck.
