Horn Lake Police late Monday afternoon reported that a suspect had been identified in connection with a burglary at a residence Tuesday night.

An update from the police department said Brandon Bernard Johnson was the person seen on surveillance video inside a home in the 2800 block of Briarwood Drive, south of Goodman Road West.

Johnson would be charged with burglary. The release did not specify if he had been captured as of late Wednesday afternoon.

Officers were called to the home Monday night after being called by the homeowner, who said he was viewing a black male inside on an in-home surveillance camera from a remote location.

Officers arrived at the home just after the suspect had left.

There was no report of what, if anything was taken, but police did release an image and video from the surveillance camera to help in identifying the person involved.
