Girl Scouts back Earth Day event

Girl Scout Troop 13922 was among the exhibitors and vendors that took part in the Earth Day activities on the DeSoto County Courthouse Square on Saturday. Olivia Hendricks and Emily Duncan helped show visitors the ease in starting a garden by planting sunflowers, wild flowers, green beans, cucumbers and watermelon. The Scouts were earning an Earth Day patch through their participation in Saturday’s event.
