Shooting investigation

Police in Horn Lake are investigating a incident Saturday morning they have classified as a drive-by shooting.

Fortunately no one was hurt, but bullet holes were found that riddled vehicles and a residence in the area of the shooting.

Officers were called to the 3400 block of Carroll Drive, north of Nail Road and west of Tulane Road, about 7:25 a.m. Saturday on a “shots fired” call.

Residents at first thought fireworks were being shot off, but later realized gun shots had been fired on discovery of the bullet holes in a residence and nearby vehicles.

Police said that several shell casings were also found in the street.

Investigation of the shootings thus far has not determined a motive, with no reports of any disagreement with the occupants of the home.

Some leads are being followed up on, however.

Anyone with information is asked to call Horn Lake Police at 662-393-6174.
