DPS examiners noted for organ donor commitments

Examiners with the Nesbit Department of Public Safety vehicle license bureau have been recognized for their efforts to promote organ donor donation as part of the license issuance or renewal process. Donate Life Mississippi awarded the bureau the Red Heart Award for having the state’s highest percentage of organ donors added to the rolls. (From left) Examiners Tommie Sue Taylor (38.46 percent), Marquita Sanford (30.66 percent), Linda McKinzie (30.4 percent), and Gerrilyn Tate (35.61 percent) were also recognized for achieving more than 30 percent organ donor driver commitments and Taylor had the highest percentage in the state. Olive Branch examiners Linda Aldridge, Patricia Dorris and Kandanice Stevenson were similarly recognized.
