Authorities arrested four men accused of leading them on a chase and manhunt Tuesday evening in Walls. 

The four, all accused of being a fugitive from justice, have been identified as Christopher Campbell, age 23; Demetrious Moore, age 25; Markeith Taylor, age 29; and Danterio Owens, age 23. All four have Memphis addresses and they remained in the DeSoto County Adult Detention Center late Wednesday afternoon. No court dates in their cases had yet been set.

They were arrested by the Mississippi Highway Patrol, with assistance from the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Department and other agencies.

A trooper spotted a vehicle going at a high rate of speed and gave chase. According to authorities, the vehicle part of the chase ended when the four crashed and fled their vehicle near the intersection of U.S. Highway 61 and Goodman Road in Walls

The group continued their attempt to escape on foot, but three were initially arrested and a fourth found and captured a short time later.
