Amagliani wins welding scholarship

Northwest Mississippi Community College welding student Kayla Amagliani of Hernando, center, is the first Northwest student to receive the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS)/Skills USA Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded for “exhibiting academic achievement, dedication to excellence and demonstration of the seven founding attributes of the NTHS. Congratulating Amagliani are, from left, Robin Douglas, assistant dean of Workforce Solutions and Career-Technical Education and Dr. Tonyalle Rush, director of the Career Center.
