Nesbit student serves as MS Senate Page

Reynolds "Ren" McCaleb of Nesbit recently served as a page for the Mississippi Senate. Pages generally run errands for officials and Senate staff.

Ren is pictured with Lt. Governor C. Delbert Hosemann Jr., and Senator Kevin Blackwell, who sponsored his visit. Ren is the son of Karie Sue and Reed McCaleb and attends Lewisburg High School. When asked about the week, Ren said, "I enjoyed being a Junior Page in the Senate because it was a rare opportunity to be a part of Mississippi's law-making system. I enjoyed learning more about bills that have to do with our criminal prosecution system and more. I would personally like to thank Senator Kevin Blackwell for giving me this unique chance to serve the state of Mississippi."
