Xylem Dewatering Solutions of Horn Lake recently provided some much-needed assistance to the property owners association of Maywood in Olive Branch.

Maywood HOA President and Olive Branch Alderman Gil Earhart said the HOA was in the process of drawing down the water level in Lake Shahkoka in order to conduct some inspections required by the Department of Environmental Quality of Mississippi.

Many residents were additionally in the process of making repairs to shoreline retention walls when the regular siphon system on Shahkoka Lake quit working, thus allowing the lake to fill up again with recent rains.

Xylem offered to partner with Maywood HOA by setting up a pumping system at a critical time for the residents.
